Real Budget Solutions for Real Businesses

We started MarkonFlux because we noticed something missing in financial consulting—honest conversations about what actually works for growing companies in Thailand's unique business environment.

How We Actually Got Started

Back in 2019, I was working with a small manufacturing company in Chiang Rai that was struggling with cash flow. Their previous consultant had given them a beautiful 50-page budget report that looked impressive but didn't help them understand where their money was actually going.

That's when it clicked for me. Most financial advice focuses on complex theories rather than practical day-to-day management. Thai businesses need budget strategies that work with their actual operations, not against them.

So we built MarkonFlux around one simple idea: financial planning should make your business decisions clearer, not more complicated. Every recommendation we make has to pass the "Monday morning test"—will this actually help when you're making real business decisions?

What Drives Our Work

Clear Numbers

Your financial reports should tell a story you can understand and act on. We skip the jargon and focus on the metrics that actually matter for your decisions.

Practical Focus

Every budget strategy we create gets tested against real-world scenarios. If it doesn't work in your daily operations, we revise it until it does.

Long-term Partnership

We're not interested in quick fixes. The best financial strategies develop over time as we learn how your business actually operates and grows.

Meet the Team Behind Your Budget Strategy

Carlos has been working with Thai businesses since 2017, starting with small family-owned companies and gradually expanding to medium-sized enterprises across different industries. His background in accounting gave him the technical foundation, but working directly with business owners taught him what actually matters.

"I've seen too many businesses get overwhelmed by financial planning because it was presented as this complex, intimidating process," Carlos explains. "But really, good budgeting is just organized thinking about your money. Once you have the right framework, the decisions become much clearer."

What sets our approach apart is the time we spend understanding how each business actually operates. Carlos typically spends the first month just observing cash flow patterns and asking questions about daily operations before making any recommendations.

Our Method: Budget Planning That Actually Works

We've refined our process through years of working with Thai businesses, focusing on strategies that fit real operating conditions rather than textbook scenarios.

1

Business Reality Check

We spend time understanding your actual cash flow patterns, seasonal variations, and operational constraints before building any budget framework.

2

Custom Budget Framework

Every business operates differently. We create budget categories and tracking systems that match how your company actually makes and spends money.

3

Regular Strategy Reviews

Markets change, and so do businesses. We schedule quarterly reviews to adjust your budget strategy based on what's actually happening in your operations.

4

Decision Support Tools

Beyond just tracking expenses, we help you build systems for evaluating investments, managing cash flow gaps, and planning for growth opportunities.
